Q.
How much water do I need and what if I don’t find enough?
A: Athough rare
it is possible to drill in one location and find 100’s gpm of quality
potable water and drill on a neighboring spot within a few hundred feet
and get nothing. Hydrogeology reports in Georgia are not complete enough
to alleviate this “drill and see” approach. 98% of the time
enough water is found on a single well to meet the needs of a single household
(25gpm). If not enough water is found a process called surging or hydrofracturing
has been used to double the gpm.
