Geothermal radiant
floor heating circulates warm water through PEX tubing embedded in the floor,
heating people, furnishings and, to a lesser degree, the air in the room.
The whole floor acts as the heat distribution surface providing an even
and consistent heat.
WHY IS RADIANT HEATING THE OPTIMUM HEATING SOLUTION?
Conventional forced Forced-air heating systems circulate heated air to distribute
heat, but two major drawbacks leave people out in the cold:
1. Hot air rises to the ceiling
leaving the living area cold.
2. Hot air escapes easily every time a door or window is opened.
3. You can’t use ceramic tile in your basement and feel cozy.
AT THE VERY LEAST, YOU SHOULD THINK RADIANT READY
Radiant ready is simply installing the radiant
tubing in the slab at the time of construction and at any point in time
later on when you want to finish off that basement, you can and not be
worried having that cold basement feeling.
